Gordon Barunga - Scrub Bull

When Gordon wasn’t chasing cattle, he was scratching pictures of cows into paperbark trees with a stick. From his home at Mowanjum, Gordon explains how the cattle, pandanas and spring country around the remote Pantijan Station became the inspiration for his saturated watercolour landscapes.

This video was produced for an exhibition featuring a generation of artists that came from Kimberley cattle stations.
